"We are not joking, one night we will come suddenly." Unthinkable threats by Erdogan-what Alexander the Great answers Him from the depths of History!

The battle at Gaugamela (331 B.C.)
By insisting on the rhetoric of tension with Greece, Turkish President Receptayp Erdogan does not miss the opportunity wherever he stands to threaten Greece with the now usual known slogan: "one night we will come suddenly". Should Mr. Erdogan learn a little better about the glorious history of Greece? He should study History. Watching the epic play "Alexander of 2004", one finds answers for Mr. Erdogan's fur. When the evening before the magnificent and victorious battle of Gaugamela, Parmenion proposes to M. Alexander to attack at night to catch the Persians sleeping, gets the answer from M. Alexander: "I did not come here to steal at night the victory that belongs to me! ».
Let us have a good question: Mr. Erdogan by what right and under what international treaty do you have the audacity to want to attack another country? either day or night! Is it to recover territories that belonged to you? What lands did you own or still belong to you today? Those you conquered with the sword and violence in the last 600 years. You dared to say to the Turkish people recently, in your campaign speech in Bilejik in central Turkey, looking back at the historical Ottoman past: "we started from the depths of Asia, we reached Bursa and then we spread to the Middle East, to all the Balkans and we reached the walls of Vienna." And you continued: "Some still cannot digest the Ottoman Empire. We, as a nation, are still standing up because we have never given up on our dreams. We spread our word to our region and to the world. Unlike the dirty class of imperialists, our dreams are always in the direction of Peace and Justice."
Do you have the audacity to talk about Peace and Justice when you threaten the territorial sovereignty of Greece, which is also a NATO ally and is tolerated by its other powers? A little shame on you and our allies! But how will you encourage your forces to come to Greece at night? For which reason? Again, the answer comes from the lips of Alexander the Great. Encouraging his soldiers, riding Bucephalus, before the Battle of Gaugamela, he said to them: "all of you honor our ancestors and our homeland. Who is King Darius who has slaves as soldiers? These men do not fight for their homes. We are here today as free Greeks. The greatest honor for a man is to die with his countrymen fighting for his country. Tame your fear and I promise you will subdue death. I will be with you in the heart of the battle. One day your sons and grandsons will look you in the eyes and when they ask you why you fought so bravely at Gaugamela, you will answer with all the strength of your great heart "I was there for the freedom and glory of Greece".
Mr. Erdogan, can you say something like that to your own soldiers when you urge them to "come to Greece one night"? You don't have the historical weight and moral stature to utter such words! Really about which glory and which homeland will you talk to them? About the Ottoman Empire that the great powers broke up after World War I? Do you know with whom you allied in this war? With the losers. Put it well in your mind: we Greeks’ worthy children of our ancestors will advance our breasts in your every attack on our country, whether it be day or night.
You really talk about Peace and Justice when you spread death in Cyprus, Syria, Armenia and elsewhere you have no right to military intervention! You have dared to say that you have reached the walls of Vienna! But let's see what historians say about the development of the Ottoman Empire. All historians agree that the Ottoman Empire was founded in the late 13th century. Until then Greek and other populations lived scattered in various parts of the Balkan Peninsula, Asia Minor, in the Black Sea and elsewhere. The Empire created during the years of Alexander The Great's campaign and afterwards encompassed the regions from the eastern coast of the Adriatic to northwestern India.
Archaeological finds show Greek-speaking populations to be in the southern Balkans before 2000 BC. The peak of the Greek presence is highlighted by the creation of the Empire of Alexander the Great (330 BC. until its fall from Rome). The Byzantine Empire (330-1453) followed the Roman one and was catalyzed only by the coming of tribes from the depths of Asia. Thus, the Ottoman Empire was created (1299-1922). By the sword and violence of the Ottomans who came from the depths of Asia (you said it!). After the fall of Byzantium in 1453 the road to Europe was left open for the spread of the Ottomans who advanced gradually occupying the Peloponnese, central Greece, Macedonia, Albania, part of Polish Ukraine and Hungary, advancing through the Balkans, until they reached Vienna.
Yes, Mr. Erdogan, you had reached Vienna. But you never conquered it! Vienna was attacked twice by the Ottomans: in September 1529 and March 1682. Despite the human numerical and military superiority of the Ottomans, the Austrians (with the help of other Europeans) managed to defend themselves victoriously both times. In the first campaign Suleiman set out from Constantinople. Twenty thousand soldiers arrived in Vienna first, who pillaged all parts and murdered the civilian population in the most atrocious manner. They slaughtered civilians, raped underage girls, disemboweled pregnant women, impaled the fetuses they extracted from their mothers ' bellies or pierced them with their spears and carried them in kinds of trophies. These scenes were saved by eyewitnesses and transported throughout Europe, while they are confirmed by Turkish chronicle records of the time. Do you know all this, Mr. Erdogan? Is this the direction of Peace and Justice that you shamelessly invoke today.
The great Turkish historian Taner Akcam points out in a recent article: "the Turks wiped out civilizations everywhere and never protected what was found on their property". “They are by no means a civilized people and have failed to stand up to the level of civilization of the lands which they have conquered”. "It bears no fruit on the ground trodden by the foot of an Ottoman”. "They have dried up and no grass grows where the Ottomans stepped on them." "The Turks are trampling on every step they take in the Balkan Peninsula the works of civilization of thousands of years”. "The Turk who finds a tree will cut it down”. "The Ottomans did nothing but burn, ravage, destroy the places they conquered".
Mr. Erdogan, what do you have to say about all this? Will you repeat all this in the places you will come to occupy one night? Molon lave had said Leonidas the brave King of ancient Sparta facing another Asian raid on the sacred lands of Greece. The children of this proud Country will give you the answer you deserve either day or night!
